Tee times must always be adhered to. All visitors are asked to ensure that their guests are aware of their confirmed starting time and adhere to them. Any player missing or late for their tee time will be reverted to the next available tee time. All play must be from the yellow tee markers, unless alternative arrangements have been made prior with the Pro shop. Slow play is not tolerated; 4 hours 15 minutes is allowed for each match to complete the course. Mobile phones are not permitted on the golf course, except in an emergency or for a golf scoring app. Players searching for a lost ball should invite the following match to play through. All bunkers should be raked after playing out, and rakes replaced in bunkers. Replace divots and press them firmly down, and repair pitch marks on the greens. Clear the green as soon as possible (i.e., mark scorecards on the way to the next tee). Proper behavior is expected on and off the course, and players should not give offense to others. It is essential to adhere to the club rules and to follow the golf attire and dress requirements specified by the club. Four is the maximum number allowed in any one game.
Collared polo shirts (including tailored golf-specific tops) are essential for adhering to golf dress requirements. Additionally, golf-specific mid-layers, sweaters, and outerwear are appropriate choices to meet club rules. It’s important to wear golf trousers, chinos, or tailored shorts/skirts (with a belt where appropriate) to comply with the standards of golf attire. Golf shoes, whether they are soft spikes or spikeless, should also be worn, along with golf hats or caps (worn with the peak facing forward) to complete the look.
Football, rugby, and gym shirts are generally not permitted under the club rules. T-shirts without a collar are also excluded, unless they are specifically designed as golf attire that meets our golf dress requirements. Denim jeans, cargo shorts, or tracksuit bottoms are not allowed either. Footwear should include appropriate options beyond trainers, sandals, or flip-flops. Additionally, caps or hats worn backwards, as well as military-style or camouflage clothing, do not comply with the club rules.
Any match playing a full 18 holes has priority over a match playing a 9-hole round, in accordance with the club rules. A Club competition match takes precedence as well. If a group loses one clear hole to the one in front, it should allow the group behind to pass. Faster groups should be invited through, while ensuring that all players adhere to golf dress requirements and appropriate golf attire.
Buggies must always be kept on the cart path during wet weather conditions. Please check the day's club rules with the Pro shop when hiring. Trolley bans are also at the discretion of the Head Greenkeeper based on course conditions, and his decision is final. Please ensure you adhere to the golf attire and dress requirements as well.
